Hadn't looked at AKM for a while. I wondered what had happened to the share price then realised its the ol share consolidation to restart the downward trend trick that had happened.
Of been on the end of this a few times as a shareholder. I think IMI was the worst. They went to 001c a few times, even after about 3 share price consolidations. It's amazed me that it was allowed to happen really.They should have been wound up. The company is still around today but after years of capital raisings, sp consolidations, and a name change my initial $2500 eventually became worth nothing and I was kicked off the register. Gone. It actually looks like this -
WESTERN DIAMOND CORPORATION NL - Jan 2000
WESTERN DIAMOND CORPORATION LIMITED - Apr 2000 then
INTEGRA MEDICAL IMAGING LIMITED - Dec 2003 then
IM MEDICAL LTD - Dec 2017 now
BABYLON PUMP & POWER LIMITED - Today (BPP)
I digress sorry..
Unlike IMI, this company appears to have a possible future but its never nice to see these consolidations then slide downwards once more. It will be interesting to see if Mr T suffers any more wealth destruction after this virus blows over.
