If you take the view that Trump needed to deflate stock markets that were running at 159% of GDP, simple way to do it would be to 'drop' the price of oil by getting the Saudis and Russians to "disagree". Roll forward 1 month, time to reinflate the economy, a quick phone call to said Russians and Saudis - then bingo! - said dispute is over and POO is back to $40+ by end of May. Trump wont let POO stay below $40, the US shale industry is needed .... Art of the Deal. I bought STO and BPT yesterday, including April and May calls.
