Flight Centre kicks off pitch for $500m rescue raising

Listed travel group Flight Centre is in front of a small group of fund managers seeking support for what would be a company-saving equity raising.
It is understood Flight Centre and its bankers are trying to secure early support for a $500 million equity raising, which would take place at a substantial discount to its last traded price.
The deal is priced at $7.20 a share, investor sources said.
