Speaking of managing QFE’s cost base amid Covid-19:
- Alan Joyce (QAN) has forgone his salary for rest of this year
- Thomas Knudsen (Toll CEO) taking 40% pay cut
- Newcorp execs all taking significant pay cuts
- Partners of accounting and law firms such as KPMG and Minters are also taking 17 - 40% pay cuts
- Many other CEOs / execs of companies big and small doing their bit to chip in
Old Bruce is on top of the salary roll at QFE, $300k a year to run a business earning around $7m revenue, plus $32k / 8% interest income from the company, not to mention executive options, free milestone share issues etc.
Would we see him demonstrate some leadership during tough times in favour of the company’s long term future ...?
