My point was based on normal economic principles, inflation would usually be the outcome of printing money due to devaluation of the currency. Look at Zimbabwe as a classic example. Thinking that deflation is very unlikely in an extremely consumer focussed society like the US. There are always exceptions to the rule but was pointing to what was most likely.
