after watching Offsiders this morning it obvious that sports people and commentators don't understand where the money to pay for sports comes from

there's talk of hundreds of millions of losses because one sport or another is cancelled

what loss?

there is no loss....!

that money does not get "created" by a sport or sporting event: it gets shifted from one group of people (who work) to those who entertain

and presently people are not working so that's where money is being lost and so there is not enough of it to give to entertainers
