Thanks Immetoday, that's very helpful. So the tests ordered by the UK are the same as the Cellmid tests? If so, apparently the UK intends to allow them to be used at home: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/04/05/antibody-covid-19-test-home-coronavirus/ There seems to be strong resistance to home testing in Australia at the moment, but it will be interesting to see how that develops.
Also, I'm still not convinced the tests only possible use is detecting people who have recovered from the virus. In some situations perhaps they could also assist with detecting live cases of infection. It seems the tests would have a good chance of picking up the virus if it was relatively advanced, such as in someone who had had symptoms for a few days. There also seems to be a possibility that conducting two tests separated by a time period could provide a pretty thorough check. Do you have any views on this side of things/
