I did this with a stock a few years ago. Bought heaps at $0.001 and thought I could not loose but then they made an announcement to reduce the number of ordinary shares on issue and make the stock tradable by converting every 100 shares to 1 share. This was great I thought but on the day the shares were converted the share price went from $0-10 cents down to $0-05 cents and within a very short time the share price was down to $0-01 cent so I lost 90% of my initial investment. Lesson learnt on stocks trading at $0.001.
