The government is going to look silly or even corrupt if seen to be giving money to businesses and people who do not really need it!!!
There will be people starving in the streets in the next 12-24 months. Could even be a revolution.
A poll here or there is meaningless when whats critical is how much people need as it gets closer to the election.
An executive here or there simply do not vote enough in elections like they do not buy enough oil and chinese products.
Pampering to the elite will be the coalitions undoing probably because when the desperate and unfortunate are screaming prior to the election thats when real disruption and havoc can emerge come election time!!
Coalition really needs to do what it can to improve the opportunity of those that vote, including reducing those opportunities that don't vote, otherwise its not looking good
