This sort of argument is usually nonsense. The only ones with a clear interest in ramping are the holders - therefore, logically they are the ones who should be ignored.

Non-holders who post negatively might be downramping, that's true, but you'd have to pretty optimistic to think you can talk down the stock price by posting on HotCopper. Far more likely that non-holders are merely giving an impartial view, undistorted by the prism of optimism; doesn't mean they are right, but certainly a point of view worth considering instead of just listening to the cheer squad.
