well, this is obviuously the domain of day-traders, rather than investors. I do believe I hit a raw nerve. While day traders are willing to let things ride, investors are not,and take a genuine interest in their investments. At not time did I talk about the current price - all sps are behaving at the behest of the market and no individual can do anything about that, legally at last.

It wasn't that long ago that stockbrokers were attributing $5 per tonne iron in the ground by stockbrokers. The more tonnes and the better the quality, the more likely that valuation would apply. UMC announced around 100Mt when they had about 100M fps on issue = $5/share, ignoring any upside. That value was based on other aspiring iron ore explorers' resources at the time, not simply pulled out of the air. That UMC mis-handled their announcement process is a matter of history. Whether UMC could hold onto any of that sp in the current market is a matter for conjecture.

Rather than posting smartarse one liners, perhaps you could use this forum for discussion of the issues, rather than just another idiotic graffiti wall. Issues like the court case that caused the ex CEO to dump shares in a pique of illogic? Or what the current management is doing to engage with Rio to maximise resource value?

But I forget myself, the forum doesn't extend to such lofty ideals as actually discussing stock.
