I'm kinda with you on this one, two of those roles seem excessive to me as well. I've worked for Barrick and Goldfields before, and that's the sort of corporate structure I'd associate with companies with their market cap and scope.

I realise OGC are a multi-jurisdiction company, but given two of their operations are in NZ and one is in the USA, I question why they need all these touchy feely corporate roles to fully amalgamate and assimilate with the local "culture" and society.

Didipio? Different kettle of fish bigtime. That preso was very short on detail as to what their strategy even is to sort that mess out. That's the jurisdiction where they really DO need some local expertise and ongoing social licence to operate. But I'm not sure if flashy sounding corporate titles in Melbourne are really going to be effective in that regard.

    Maybe I'm being too harsh.

An eminently investable company, but that corporate structure kind of annoys me as well. If the new CEO can guide the company through the Didipio s$$t storm, then I'll be in for sure.
