I held shares at the times these emails were received, so reckon I can post 'em. There's no disclaimer. Feel free to add - you lot will have much better gear than me - but dyor re the legals.
If the email you received is a duplicate of what someone else received please make this clear, as this would clearly make that email a published doc.

"The placements were all made under the facility we have with Global .
This facility has been a lifeline for CityView as it enables us to access cash instantly over the telephone at a time when the world is suffering a banking crisis .
I cannot think of anyone else who could have given us money on 24 hours notice with no questions asked . Why did they do it ? They really believe that CityView has struck a winner and their clients are going to make a fortune
Whilst we are building our asset base in Angola we are constantly having to meet unexpected commitments at short notice . The key is speed . Because we have been so quick in our response , we have been able to get what we want .
Global have been very good for CityView . They got the $ 100 million facilty for the oil permits over Xmas . They got the $ 200 million backing for the refinery . They gave us cash over the telephone and have distributed the shares over hundreds of individual clients .
You will be pleased to know that we are coming to the end of our cash facility . I am only permitted to draw down a further 7.5 million shares and that is it . They want all future funding after this remnant to be institutional funding at 30 cents per share , otherwise none of their clients will be making the returns they are demanding .
We have now got enough assets in CityView to attract the institutions so we no longer have to live from hand to mouth
Am in New York all this week telling the CityView saga to the US institutions

Mark Smyth"

“You forgot the Fortitude shares we also got in addition to the Pensador shares
Pensador is covering all operational expenditure , thank heavens . The speed with which the various operations eat up money is enormous .
CityView's only expenses now are its own administration expenditure in Australia
Our Company Secretary will be filing the cash balance figures in the quarterly statement he has to do by 15 July
