Did you read the link I posted about MMT.
What causes hyperinflation is caused not by printing money but because there is no production or capacity to use the money.
Zimbabwe's inflation was caused because the economy was an agriculture economy and the government seized all of the farms and gave them to soldiers who did know how to farm. Which mean't that food and agricultural products that underpinned the economy were not produced which causes a shortage of goods and services which mean't more money bidding for less food and agricultural good and that caused the inflation.
Zimbabwe was the food bread basket of Africa before that happened.
America printed 1 trillion dollars after the GFC and there was no inflation to speak of because there was under utilised production capacity to soak up the money and to be put to use.
