I think Buffett (EVERYONE LEARN HOW TO SPELL IT 2 'T'S ON THE END, HE ISN'T A SALAD BAR AT SIZZLER) may have a bit of an idea about modern economics. If you have ever heard him speak he is a fricken financial genius, and it is just complete utter ignorance to believe that you have anything more than 1% of his ability.
Everyone said he lost his touch during the dot.com boom aswell and he was too old to invest. Those fund managers that bagged him then, blew up their funds quickly and are most likely not doing so well.
What is a confirmed bottom? what are the signs? And how the hell do you identify one when 10% moves on the DOW are almost the norm now?
People used to say that 45 on the VIX means capitulation is close. It hit 81 last night.
I will choose to listen to Buffett. He is rich, I am not.
