When I say a bottom won’t be far off I am talking about commodities. The supply demand scenario hasn’t changed much over this period; it’s the market perception, and expectation that have changed.

Do you really think that companies can continue to produce commodities at current prices??
They will continue to shut operations stemming supply further. China hasn’t gone away!! They are going to ramp up industrialization and urbanization. In case of oil, an alternative fuel/s takes many, many years to come into effect and have a market impact
As the US dollar continues to be printed its value will decline, and value will be sort elsewhere. Something real. Commodities. And when this happens I think it will happen in a big way

Your right, we won’t know the bottom till after the fact, but my view (sure, I could be wrong) we can’t be far off, when items are supplied at a loss, this cannot continue, hence a bottom cant be far off. So I contend accumulate through to the bottom, and through the start of the rebound. I haven’t got a stack of cash waiting on the side lines to pounce when the time is right, nor do I want to use margin. So for me to accumulate over a period is right. Besides by the time we realise the bottom has occurred will we have missed the boat?

This is the beauty of the market, for every person a different set of circumstances and different perspectives apply
