Chinese manganese ore import declines in August
It is reported that China imported 605,484 tonnes of manganese ore in August, down by 33.2% than 906,860 tonnes in the same time of last month.
As per report, South Africa was the top exporter of manganese ore to China at 177,000 tonnes declined by 12.6%. Shipments from Australia totaled 169,000 tonnes down by 44.4%t from a month earlier. Besides, China imported 63,000 tonnes from Brazil up by 8.3% from last month.
