Umm, WTP is hardly a "small time QLD developer". To those of us lucky enough to live in Brisbane, WTP looks like a baby LEI. And you know what sort of multiple LEI trades on ...
WTP profit has grown rapidly, and is forecast to continue growing, currently estimating 30-35 cps for FY2009.
Sorry, but as much as I like VPG at the moment, these two are completely different. Long term, I'll go with WTP any day. It's a small, high quality growth company that actually adds significant value in project work.
VPG is just a bunch of assets, where VPG derives passive income. At present, I believe the assets are significantly undervalued, so I've taken a position. Long term though, the growth will not keep up with WTP, not by a long shot.
To each his own, though.
