Here's where those holes are (black dots) on the Kaniko project regional soil, laterite, vein, and saprolite sample grid (white and coloured dots)
Keep that colour legend in mind. While we zoom in to NE Bankan and add this announcement's drill results.

It Makes sense that they would assume a NW/SE trend for mineralisation based on those grids, and that's what it looks like they have tested.
But look a the giant gap to the south, southwest, north and northeast of KKOAC001 (46m @ 6.58g/t Au from surface) with no drilling.
There's about 200m untested potential width along >700m potential strike - just from the regional soils and drilling.

The other holes on that southern line also returned:
    KK0AC002: 30m @ 1.4g/t Au
    KKOAC004: 50m @ 1.3g/t Au

700m long, 200m wide, 50m tested depth, averaging 1.3g/t Au at an saprock density of 2.6g/cc would be ~18Mt @ 1.3g/t Au, or 750,000oz.
For every 50m additional depth at that grade, add another 750,000 oz to the exploration target.

    Pretty decent kickoff!
