    No you can buy it even a day before it goes ex-dividend..

    Wrong 90 day has nothing to do with any thing..

    Sarala I’ll try to make this as simple has I can, its not really that hard…90 days is wrong… if one is going to get quiet a bit in divvy payment a year, one is required to hold the stock for 45 days to allow you to claim the franking credit in your TAX (so you count 46 days from the day of buying to be safe} you can buy even 4 weeks before the x-divvy date and those 28 days still count towards your 45 days. Sorry if its sound so confusing. The asx site has it all there read it a few times and its will get clearer.. Please read this link its good as well its all there.
