Worth having a look at the change of substantial shareholding lodged today by Australian Super re DOW - net sales were 6.5M shares between 1 Feb and 9 April.
But check the detail and the timing - there is net accumulation up to 24 March, then after the deferment of the interim dividend there are net sales of about 15M !!!
DOW has IMO severally damaged its reputation with superannuants and superannuation funds with its deferment of the dividend.
And all holders will suffer from this reputation damage when DOW goes to market for a capital raise and finds superannuation funds less willing to subscribe.
