Correct with respect to the trades being discussed. I know this as I was watching the market depth and course of sales as the trades occurred. Even a mortal can see this.

Nope, I didn't backflip on anything and I didn't say it was common "practice" - it's simply a result of the way the processing is designed to handle trades under particular scenarios.

"And, more weasel words re shorts."
Where?

"I don't know who has loaned the shares - do you ?"
Yes.

"Seeing as how you are the all knowing super being, why don't you tell us ?"
Nah, because you can eventually figure it out after you understand how shorts work and do some thinking. Hint: their name isn't important to the point you were trying to make about there only being 40k shorts.
