Where do you put fair value? People are looking through the next 12 months and AIZ is one of the best placed airlines in the world right now.
What I still don’t fully understand though is the terms of the NZ govt loan agreement. While I appreciate lending to an airline isn’t exactly low risk (particularly in the current climate), i would’ve thought they’d have gotten better terms from a commercial lender than those obtained from the NZ govt (8% interest). I suppose certainty/speed of execution was favoured at the time...
