derivative market losses starting to emerge, page-7

nice one. i see, the aig scenario, official terminology for swaps.
i know this may have been discussed already on some other thread but.....this means that more mortgage defaults, loan defaults, credit card defaults, leasing contract defaults etc, is going to cause, when announced, more big losses and closures. huh? i thought this was the end of the issue, but correct me please, is all the money aid coming in operating in a parallel universe to the collapses, or is it stopping the collapses from happening?
i dont see how its related. it seems there is more to come.i dont know if they are fixing the problem, or maybe rather they are trying to steady the ship as the problem is still occuring and cant be stopped.

also i was thinking about if all this money has disappeared where did it go...was it to pay for the lifestyles of millions of americans for years and years, and basically thats where it went and the banks thought they would get it returned somehow, or thru an insurance company. wow. if all this is true, the market is headed south slowly but surely
