I agree, seems like 1ST could definitely benefit from updating their mobile apps usability and practicality, however as far as I understand, 1ST generally want to focus on developing the platform and currently attract the majority of their bookings through embedding their softwares into each individual practice website, that's why I believe mobile booking isn't their main focus at the moment.

In regards to HE, they focus primarily on GP appointments, a sector that 1ST hasn't made part of its expansion strategy. I spoke to Klaus a couple months ago about the apparent competition from Hotdoc and HE, and he firmly believes that neither companies are truly in competition with 1ST, this is for a few reasons:
1. 1ST are targeting a different market segment to Hotdoc and HE.
2. The greater success of online health practice booking overall (ie. success of HE/HotDoc) will also translate into 1ST's growth.
3. Practices rarely leave the 1ST platform (retaining 95%+ of clients), but very rarely (1-2% of practices which leave the platform) are going to competitors such as HotDoc and HE. Klaus mentioned that more often than not, practices often benefit out of being clients of 2 or 3 of the online booking services.
