well, that would be xenophobic, sinophobic and just plan stupid unless you are the political class and want the economy to tank? why is that good for A2M? A Tanking economy with no overseas investment? That makes sense, the Winston Peters playbook of un financial considerations holding back NZ and her companies like A2M?
Perhaps he wants shares and controlling stakes in A2M as well as AIR/ AIZ? otherwise I think foreign investment is the way to go. How is Australian investment in NZ any better? their banks want nothing to do with NZ. Why would they want to lend to NZ when they have Sydney and Melbourne to compare it with?
A more moral attitude from China and Beijing is what is needed to stimulate investment in Australia and NZ and put global commerce back on track.
