Ok, lets break @JCoure's seriously uneducated rantings down..
"Why the dangerous Deloitte would leave Paul Scurrah at the helm should be beyond comprehension?"

Paul Scurrah does not keep his job as CEO if VAH goes into Administration. That's not a given or not clear. He could if the Administrator hands the company back to Director control. Unlikely. Most likely a DOCA and who ever tips in the new capital gets to decide who plays as CEO.
And Scurrah is not "dangerous". The previous guy was the problem.
The voluntary administrator’s role
After taking control of the company, the voluntary administrator investigates and reports to creditors on the company’s business, property, affairs and financial circumstances, and on the three options available to creditors. These are:

- end the voluntary administration and return the company to the directors’ control
- approve a deed of company arrangement through which the company will pay all or part of its debts and then be free of those debts
- wind up the company and appoint a liquidator.

No Scurrah as CEO in admin there either...

"You just state fake falsehoods. Paul Scurrah was not made CEO “5 minutes ago”, he was in fact appointed on 1 February 2019, more than one year ago. Stop peddling lies and falsehoods. if you cannot win an argument without stating factually wrong falsehoods, that is not an argument at all."
"He had a whole year of loss making activity as CEO. He deserves a shocking reputation for having presided over a loss well before any Coronavirus."

Paul did start in Feb 2019, Borghetti had been in the helm of Virgin since May 2010. 9 years. You want to hold Scurrah responsible for 9 years of mis-management and you expected him to turn it around in less than year, under the most unprecedented event in Commercial Aviation history. A complete shutdown of the aviation industry, worldwide. Paul has been here literally 5 minutes compared to the tenure of the previous CEO.
Your more delusional than I thought...
Paul restructured 750 head office staff out within his 8 months. He re-structured the reporting lines and departments. He cut out a lot of duplication.

Borghetti presided over VAH's biggest ever recorded loss. Not Scurrah.

"Paul Scurrah, Cameron Dick and a majority of Queenslanders (well, 50% +1 of them) have been just rent seeking and causing unworkable protectionism that has had disgusting outcomes for Australians for years IMHO.
They should be held accountable for this hideous outcome. It has been disgraceful and undemocratic for the rest of Australia that a country has been held to ransom by the political class of one side in Brisbane IMHO.
The banks, Murdoch press, NEC media outlets and the Courier Mail should go to town on them."

Everything I've said can be backed up by media reports, industry reports, financial reports , annual reports and prospectuses. It's all public knowledge if you look instead of spouting off whatever fiction comes out of your keyboard...
