Yes in my opinion I think you're making a smart choice Dtrade. There will certainly be better buying opportunities down the track for FMG.
On aside, just reading the latest news - the credit crisis is giving way to concerns on corp earnings and overall worsening macroeconomic conditions. Looking at the falls in global stock markets today (Nikkei down 7% for example) doesn't really inspire confidence that the US will hold up tonight either. Might be seeing the start of the next possible break down. If so, along with it will be our big stocks over here, and FMG won't be exempt.
Watching with interest!
