Well glad I didn't jump right in on the closing of the gap. Price needs close at 1.73 for a double bottom to mid sept. otherwise heading lower again.
I'm still waiting for the USD to tank. Surely its just a matter of time. My favourite theory on what's holding it up is investors cashing out their investments and mainly receiving USD for them, therefore increasing the demand for USD, keeping the price up. So it follows that when this activity slows down, down will go the USD and up will go Gold. Won't happen overnight, but it will happen.
Any other theories?
