I just can’t help but to think what impact covid19 will create in the telecommunications industry in the near future . With governments around the world looking to lay blame and seek compensation . The China - US relations will be at breaking point , Many countries may need to respond . Already we see trading issues among other serious accusations , that will only be enhanced . Tit for tat banning or sanctions . I hope not war . Telco vendors who currently compete against the Chinese electronic powerhouse conglomerates , will need to fill the void when the dust settles . Security issues and the continued telecommunications revolution , including advancements in cloud and 5G technology will provide opportunities for businesses in the right place at the right time , on the right side of the fence . Australian made will become an important campaign . Our reliance with existing trading partners will need review and the creation of new opportunities due to the exposed voids within our existing flawed services chain to be addressed . Jobs and employment will be front and centre . What does this mean for Norwood Systems , new and unforeseen business opportunities will arise along with new partnerships , as the telecommunications industry , like a number of industries will not operate the same in the near future . I hope NOR get these deals done , for Australia’s sake . All in my opinion .
