This is what they said:
"The Company will at some stage require further capital. However, the Company has not determined the mechanism, quantum, nor timing of any such raising and are not under any immediate pressure to raise".
They didn't say they wouldn't, just that they were not under pressure to do so - big big difference. Also, with 9m in the kitty and a big drilling program planned, they clearly signalled that they would "require further capital". They just didn't give a time frame.
Semantics aside, this ann goes a long way towards explaining the blatant manipulation of the sp via small trades, and large order stacking that has been evident over the last 2 days.
