no not a westpac financial planner but your time frame is still too short. my view is you need to take at least a 5 to 7 year view.........a least.
unless your "new" financial advisor is your second best mate or very well trusted i would be careful there. easy to criticise with the benefit of hindsight.
i do not know precise details but the main fee differnces would be between retail and wholesale funds. yes ones in the same categories will vary but nothing too significant i would think. but i could be wrong.
