It looks like the Chinese already own 42.4% of Virgin already ( HNA 20% + VAH 22.4%)
By the way, Air NZ sold it Virgin share to VAH ( lucky Kiwis!)
Given that there is 90% of Virgin lready owned, shouldn't the issue be foreign ownership and not who the foreign shareholders are.
If we simply tax foreign investors at a higher rate than domestic investors, wont that slow down thw foreign Aussie asset grab and PAYE tax payers will benefit....eh?
