FWIW. Hunting around, I came across "Australian Preliminary March Key Figures in International Trade of Goods". Exports up $8B to $36B, including $2.4B of "non monetary gold", up 225% on Feb. Mostly to HK and the UK.
The same report, but for imports, showed non monetary gold up 85% to $467M.
How many oz in $2.4 bill? (1.2moz@$2000/oz).
Obviously, some see value in the AUS production, and that may, I speculate, be a part of the unavailability of what is becoming "unnobtainium" of physical in the local market. And PM cast oz, $3600/oz on ebay? Silver Maple Leafs @$45+.
Corona seems coverable with staffing contingencies in place. The rise of a case now can be dealt with. And with Goldfields handling the rattling in of plant to fresh rock, which they've done many a time, GOR's focus can be on finding the stuff elsewhere, their proficiency. Maybe a guitarist and samari will chop the legs of the hedge hangover. Anyway, seems the world will eat all we find!! JMHO
