I believe the issues created by COVID-19 should be a wakeup call for Governments, or at least the first jolt in the de-globalisation of the battery mineral supply chain away from China.
In my opinion, as firms re-assess their over-reliance on China you would have to think that domestic metal supply and refinement will be increasingly sought out by the Federal Government, including for cobalt, copper and REE.
