Thanks for digging those up. They still dont appear to show primary organ direct attack. The main issue as I understand it is how the virus attacks the red blood cells removing haemoglobin and this makes red blood cells useless and no longer transport oxygen.
Lack of oxygen will damage other organs if they are starved of it. In severe COVID19 cases this leads to death. Oxygen at 100% can get some patients through if they have enough remaining healthy red blood cells until immune system kicks in. If immune system slow you die, and if you were intubated you will have some organ damage via oxygen deprivation.
I think your earlier claim that it can damage organs in otherwise mild cases is the one I was interested to see any studies on.
