ASX 200 membership will put it in front of many more fund managers than Asx300 status, so expect more buying interest.
I own Cooper Energy so hope they get to stay in the 200 as they are more a natural gas play than an oil play and have just turned on production at their Sole project in East Gippsland where I live. I like supporting locally based companies where I can.
