That's exactly it IMO. I thought they would miss on these cores - I was 50/50 on whether these cores were going to be any good. The positive is that there are traces of gold here and this first hole is more than likely the outer edges of their preferred ground to drill. It is also most accessible - given it would be ice and/or wet when they were drilling. They will also need to doze access tracks etc. as on the map, there isn't any. They did say that they were organising access to the second drill hole while they were drilling the first - all of this access is not ready in advance.
That next hole, number 2, right on the boundary will be interesting. I wonder which dot on that map will be the most preferred drill hole? I might give them a call and ask (I haven't called before). I wonder if they will tell me or anyone here who would care to try?
I'm holding long on this and have scooped up some more this morning. I'll see out the current drilling program. They have a load of pegged ground.
