definitely not a “cure all” treatment, but it has demonstrated an ability in a controlled trial to shut down cytokine storms.
so I am sure MSB had a suspicion, based on its known mechanism of action, that it might work on COVID 19 ARDS, and hence put it out there for compassionate use / last resort for patients who have nothing else to lose.
so to come back with 10 out of 12 patients surviving... I’m keen to understand what you read to make you decide this is not going to be a successful trial?
