I agree that conditions are not easy at the moment. But would you also agree that if sales were at an advanced stage like so many people have been implying they should be. There would be no need for it.
Plus as the take up rate was only about 60% last time for the CR (I think). The company also knows that a CR would be pointless and now have mortgaged even more assets and put if further in debt.
Would restructuring or reducing salaries be more prudent. All this does is allow management wages to stay at present levels.
