Does anyone have an answer to my noob Q - namely, is there a rough rule of thumb for calculating the capital depreciation to ensure that the cost of carry over 1-3 months doesn't render any recovery in BBUS illusory? Is my understanding correct that it depends on the %change of the SP500, ie if the range stays within the fund's targeted return, there will be no capital depreciation regardless of how long BBUS is held? If so, what %change is required to trigger a rebalance of the fund?
