I've just reread my post and would just like to add the following.
I don't see this application as a walk in the park, or a certainly by any means. But under the Criteria for Issuance of Authorization, we ought to stand a reasonable chance of getting a ticket to the next dance - ie. a trial to determine efficacy in humans.
Surely, that will be the stop/go moment.
But either way (and all things considered), it stands as a testament to Professor Kelly and the medical and scientific teams that have been assembled, to have got this far.
Professor Kelly was instrumental in providing a successful medical remedy to his own circumstances. It now seems relatively close at hand, that his renewed desire to provide medical relief and optimism for others might well become a reality.
