If you look at a graph of the last 12 months or so its actually on a long downtrend.
If fact, if the downtrend is to continue it should head lower from here.
I don't know of any reason that it should, except perhaps some political mutterings.
(eg; the Chinese muttering that they could stop buying our raw materials if we press ahead with a call for an international inquiry into how/where the virus started.) Talk about cut off your nose to spite your face...
Yeah; go ahead and stop buying...then pay more somewhere else!
