Amazon launches a bnpl feature..... don't you think that means that everyone who is not Amazon needs a bnpl provider? ... eBay etc.... zip will be fine.
if anything, Amazon will exercise it's warrants in zip and then learn as much as it can about their tech before buying them totally, so as to profit off an entire network of retailers. imagine the data benefit of doing as much bnpl as possible and ensuring repayment by being one of the dominant networks.
Afterpay will get even bigger if Amazon is competing.
