    "INCREMENTAL Petroleum, which is defending a scrip bid from Cooper Energy, is expected to announce a big reserve upgrade to its Selmo oil field in Turkey today.

    The upgrade is understood to have added about 5 million barrels of oil to proved and probable reserves.

    Incremental will also announce it is looking to find "alternative transactions" to the Cooper offer that have "genuine synergies". "
