    Great, cheers Nord.
Very much agree about the pit grade and how good 2g/t is in Africa.
Happy that B2Gold never made a big deal of it, made it very easy for them to sell it for peanuts biggrin.png
Plus, as you say, there may simply have been no other buyer. The power of having an operational plant nearby.

As for the pit, going on very rough guesstimates, there might be 300-400k of relatively high grade open pit gold.
Its such a good bolt on, because it also enables them to focus on the U/G drilling more, knowing they have open pit feed for perhaps at least 15 years. I also found it a little interesting that WAF threw Taurus a bone (such a small amount hopefully means they were very keen on it).

Your statement would be a truly great outcome, yet happens even more rarely than a developer becoming a miner! But I do feel that WAF management are perhaps the best I can see across the sector in regards to mine development to date. Which is so bloody important after seeing so many failures recently.

I'm hoping WAF starts becoming a predator and building a true mid-cap producer of its own with multiple mines
