Snob? How is valuing Teachers and all front line workers being a snob? Just because you have painted yourself into a corner by hating on teachers doesn't change the fact that teachers work over and above hours and are not 'well paid'. All jobs are valued however even though the floor needs cleaning the expertise and training required are not at the level of that of a teacher. If you however would rather entrust the care of your children to the floor cleaner or lawn mower man then that is your prerogative. If you think teachers should not earn more money per hour because of their contribution to your children's education and welfare, as well as the fact that they have achieved qualifications in higher education to enable this schooling and support then nothing I can say will change your mind. Unfortunately you have no idea about teaching or the education system or how their teaching performances are measured against KPI's. So to suggest that they would 'fined' (sic) out that private enterprise has consequences for failure and teaching doesn't, simply highlights your ignorance. Perhaps you should have listened a bit more attentively at school. At least now you can take notes and learn something
