The share market allows people to make money even if a share is going down ie Short selling. I am currently shorting NST because I believe that the share price has risen too far too fast and the latest quarterly results IMO have revealed that the share price is currently overvalued, at least in the short term because of the reasons some non-holders have already stated earlier.
So whilst i'm not an owner (because I have short sold), I have an interest in the company. So me expressing my opinion about why I believe the share price is overvalued is no different to you expressing your opinion as to why you think its undervalued as long as we back it up with facts or opinion.
