I agree this SP behaves strangely on ANNs.
There was an article in AFR a couple of weeks ago saying about 40% of trading is by computer algorithms and often they deliberately drive the SP of small companies down. Can remember rationale (suppose to accumulate and then sell at profit) but will try to find it.
