MSB's Mesochymal stem cells( MSCs) have passed stringent quality control with flying colours. We're in stage 3 clinical trials of other applications have you not noticed this?
This is the later stages of proving efficacy in a large cohort. We already have product to market with aGVHD and saving lives of leukemia patients with high mortality illness.
STILL you're acting as if MSB's MSCs are some fly by night operation. You talk about risk but you cannot quantify it and still conflate drugs (inherently risky on 2 levels: risk to the patient including risk of complications and side effects.
Nity picky detail? RUBBISH!
Efficacy risks are quite different with drugs because they operate at the lower end of the biological chain. A lot of unpredictability is involved including lack of efficacy. Many things can happen there. As Teva found out!!!
What you have left with MSCs is risk of efficacy and studies in China and more recently in NYC at Mt Sinai hospital indicate they're highly effective.
This is what MSB and the FDA agreed to use as the basis for the clinical trial.
